Matthias London is a writer, content producer and researcher. We know him as a lover of electronic music, living and storytelling – especially in experimental narrative form. Matthias contributed to our first issue on disappearance with the essay ‘Turning Tables, Turning Identity: Thoughts on artistic self in the shifting EDM economy.’
The piece follows the thoughts of Laren, a character loosely based on a real Istanbul-based DJ and producer. The piece was accompanied by a QR code to the real Laren’s track ‘Dystopian Desires,’ Bianca Wallis-Salmon’s photography and Laureen Lehoux’s illustration.
