Esther Gabrielle Kersley is a London-based research-led documentary photographer interested in the boundaries between truth and fiction in documentary storytelling. She has a background in Politics and Conflict Studies, which informs her practice. Her work has been featured in a number of publications, including Photoworks, Fisheye, Aesthetica and Der Grief, has been long-listed for the Jerwood/Photoworks Award and was the recipient of the Metro Imaging mentorship in 2020. She holds an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication, UAL.
Esther Gabrielle’s work was featured in a culturala newsletter as part of the online programme connected to the second issue of culturala on the topic of digitalisation.
