Maja Jankowska

Maja Jankowska (Szczecin, Poland) is a writer, film curator, and researcher with a special interest in the intersection of arts and politics. She holds a BA in Arts, Culture and Media from the University of Groningen, but decided to leave the Netherlands forever due to bad weather conditions and a party scene that is just too good. Came to Lisbon for a master’s degree but stayed, Maja has extensive experience in festival and cultural production, curation, marketing and communication. She is currently a member of the selection committee for the Reykjavik International Film Festival.
